The Lipetsk region is one of the best in the country in terms of export of agricultural products

The Lipetsk region can meet the demand for many types of agricultural products not only from its own, but also from neighboring regions, as well as supply products for EXPORT. When planning a new production, Lipetsk farmers are already thinking about sales markets.
The region demonstrates a steady increase in the volume of exports of agricultural products: in the period 2016-2021. deliveries grew with average annual values ​​at the level of 43%.
The task of doubling the volume of exports of agro-industrial products by 2024, set by the Federal project "Export of agricultural products", was not only fulfilled by the Lipetsk region, but also exceeded already in 2019.
“Despite the fact that our region is very compact in terms of territory, we produce so much that even the territory of RUSSIA is not enough. The total volume of agricultural production is more than 176 billion rubles in 2021,” commented Igor Kremnev, Deputy Governor of the Lipetsk Region, “the production index maintains growth rates this year as well. The output of almost everything is increasing: MEAT, SUGAR, eggs, etc. Harvesting is still going on, but preliminary this year we will collect the second record harvest in the history of the region for most crops. This year, despite all the difficulties associated with the introduction of duties and sanctions, the products of local manufacturers are still exported to more than 50 countries around the world.”
