Lipetsk region entered the top 15 in terms of exports of agricultural products in 2022

According to the Federal Center for the Development of Exports of Agricultural Products of the Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA "Agroexport", the Lipetsk Region in 2022 entered the top 15 regions of the country in terms of EXPORT volumes.
Despite all the difficulties that Russian companies faced last year, Lipetsk farmers supplied 1.2 million tons of agricultural products and food to foreign markets. More than 50% of our exports were products of the oil and fat industry. These are sunflower, rapeseed, soybean oils and oilseed meal and cake. In addition, local farmers supplied abroad with grain crops, baby food, soft drinks, beet pulp, FLOUR, beer and tobacco, as well as other agricultural products. This category includes yeast, animal feed, fruit juices.
“Export of products of the Lipetsk agro-industrial complex is developing very dynamically,” emphasizes Igor Kremnev, Deputy Governor of the Lipetsk Region. - Since the start of the implementation of the federal project "Export of agricultural products", which started in 2017, the export of the Lipetsk agro-industrial complex has increased by more than 4 times. I am sure that the systematic measures taken in the region, ambitious modern projects will continue to allow the region to take its rightful place among the leading Russian exporters.”
