In the first 10 months of this year, the region's food and processing industry enterprises shipped products and sold goods worth 258.6 billion rubles.
The growth of food production continues, for which Lipetsk Region is among the top 3 producers in the country. In the first 10 months of this year, the production of processed potatoes increased by 20.8%, canned MEAT by 21.8%, frozen fruits and berries by 12.2%, SUGAR by 13.2%, and yeast by 17.2%.
Positive dynamics are also observed in the production of baby food. In this area, the region has held a leading position in RUSSIA for many years. Over the past 10 months, the region produced 58.7 thousand tons of dairy products for children. This is 22.8% more than in the same period last year. The production of meat products for baby food increased by 10% and amounted to 7.2 thousand tons.
The production of vegetable oils has grown. Over the 10 months of the current year, they were produced by 9.4% more than in the same period last year. Traditionally, soybean oil shows the greatest growth . Its production increased by 79.4%. In addition, the region increased the production of cereals by 21%, canned meat and by-products of poultry - by 25.6%, meat and edible by-products of poultry - by 18.9%, processed MILK - by 21.2%, cottage cheese - by 21.1%, butter - by 8.1%.
The volume of shipped products and sold goods of food and processing industry enterprises of the region for 10 months of 2024 reached 258.6 billion rubles. This is 19.2% more than in the same period last year. The food production index in the Lipetsk region, according to Rosstat, increased by 2.6%.
"The President of Russia set the task for the agro-industrial complex to increase production volumes by at least a quarter by 2030. Food and processing industry enterprises in the Lipetsk region are actively working in this direction, increasing production volumes and expanding the range," said Ekaterina Markova, HEAD of the Lipetsk region agricultural department.
