Holstein heifers have been exported to Armenia, the high genetic potential of these animals makes it possible to obtain more than 9 thousand kg of milk from a cow following the results of the first lactation.
The crop production of the region has entered a new stage of intensification, thanks to which the Kaliningrad region, which is part of the zone of risky farming, has an effective return at the level of the black earth zone. The Amber Territory continues to be the leader in the production and yield of oilseeds and one of the key ones in terms of the yield of cereals and legumes.
In the food industry, turnover increased by 24% in 2021, reaching 253 billion rubles. An important factor in the development of the food industry was the growth of production capacities. Atlantis launched the first stage of a plant for the production of frozen semi-finished chicken products with a capacity of 22 thousand tons per year.
