For eight months of 2022, the EXPORT of FLOUR produced in the Stavropol Territory increased 4 times compared to the same period last year.
The main importers of Stavropol flour are consumers from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and Iraq. In general, the region exports this type of product to 17 countries around the world, where the agricultural products of the Stavropol region are valued for their high quality.
Also, agricultural producers of the region this year increased the volume of exports of cereals and wholemeal flour from corn by almost 3 times. Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan became importers of products.
“On the territory of the Stavropol Territory, the implementation of the national project “International Cooperation and Export” and the regional project “Export of Agricultural Products (Stavropol Territory)” continues. With the support of Governor Vladimir Vladimirov, new logistics chains have been built to expand the export potential of agricultural products, the region finds new foreign economic partners, maintains cooperation with friendly countries,” said Dmitry Frolko, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.
