Since the beginning of the year, agricultural producers of the Stavropol Territory have increased the supply of canned chicken, pork, beef and turkey abroad by 65% compared to the same period last year.
“Our farmers are actively involved in the implementation of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”, the regional project “Export of Agro-Industrial Complex Products”, supplying products to friendly countries. Thanks to the support of Governor Vladimir Vladimirov and the federal center, a set of measures aimed at increasing the competitive advantages of domestic agricultural products have been put into effect, new logistics chains have been built to continue effective work in this direction,” said Dmitry Frolko, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.
The main partner of the region in the EXPORT of canned MEAT is Tajikistan. Canned chicken produced in the Stavropol Territory is popular in Mongolia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Uzbekistan, and from turkey, beef and pork in Georgia.
The dynamics of the export of Stavropol meat products this season is the result of systematic and well-coordinated work at all levels, which will be continued as part of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation on national goals and strategic objectives of the country's development until 2024.
