The main countries importing Omsk products are Kazakhstan, CHINA , Kyrgyzstan and Belarus. In 2022, the region exported to more than 40 countries.
The positive dynamics of increasing the EXPORT of food and agricultural products is ensured through the participation of organizations of the agro-industrial complex of the region in the implementation of state support measures. First of all, this is due to the development of interregional and international relations, as well as the implementation of the regional project "Export of agricultural products of the Omsk region" within the framework of the national project "International cooperation and export".
Export potential is an important factor in the development of the region's economy.
The volume of exports of food products and agricultural raw materials has grown significantly in recent years, in addition, new channels for selling products have appeared.
According to the Federal Customs Service, the export of agricultural products of the Omsk region for 2022 increased by 24.2% compared to 2021.
More than 80% of exports fall on crop products (cereals and oilseeds) and food and processing industries (confectionery and bakery products, grain processing products and drinks).
As of March 26, 2023, the export of agricultural products of the Omsk region increased by 21.6% compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
“A significant contribution to the development of the export potential of the agro-industrial complex of the Omsk region was made by enterprises engaged in the production and processing of agricultural products. - noted the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk Region Nikolai Drofa, - Currently, more than 100 agricultural enterprises export food and agricultural products. We see that products manufactured in the region are in demand not only in the regions of our country, but also in other countries. In 2022, the region exported to more than 40 countries. The main countries importing Omsk products are still Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.”
The positive dynamics of increasing the export of food and agricultural products is ensured through the participation of agricultural organizations in the region in the implementation of state support measures related to preferential tariffs for the transportation of grain crops, compensation for transportation costs for the transportation of agricultural and food products, as well as preferential lending to organizations engaged in the production of export-oriented products .
