The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Saratov region got acquainted with the progress of the sowing campaign and the improvement of rural areas

Roman Kovalsky, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Region - Minister of Agriculture of the Region, got acquainted with the course of the sowing campaign in the agricultural artel "Zarechye" during a working trip to the Ivanteevsky municipal district.
Chairman Vasily Malykhin said that for the harvest of 2023, the collective farm had sown more than 350 hectares of cereals and legumes, more than 1,500 hectares of sunflower. Forage crops will occupy 830 hectares this year. Having examined the state of winter crops , Roman Kovalsky noted that they are all in good condition.
In addition, on the pastures of "Zarechye" the HEAD of the agricultural department of the region examined the content of cattle of the dairy direction of productivity. As of May 1, the number of cattledairy direction amounted to 1280 heads here, including cows - 420 heads. Since the beginning of the year, 917.7 tons have been milked in agricultural artels.
Also, during his visit to the Ivanteevsky district, Roman Kovalsky visited the village of Raevka, where he inspected the improvement of the public territory on Molodezhnaya Street. The work is being carried out as part of the implementation of the measures of the state program "Integrated Development of Rural Territories".
