The structure of sown areas for the 2022 field season has been formed in Bashkortostan, taking into account the needs of the region and EXPORT opportunities, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said at an operational meeting in the Government of the Republic.
Since autumn, farmers have cultivated 1 million 200 thousand hectares of arable land, sowed more than 295 thousand hectares of winter crops. In the spring of this year, more than 2 million 100 thousand hectares of spring crops will be sown, which is 90 thousand hectares more than a year earlier. The total sown area in Bashkortostan will be about 3 million hectares.
Ilshat Fazrakhmanov noted that the cost of spring sowing in the region will amount to 20.4 billion rubles. The main sources of spring field work will traditionally be the revenue of enterprises and short-term loans.
The Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA has set a limit of 222.6 million rubles for the implementation of the mechanism of preferential short-term lending for the republic. Today, the Federal Agrarian Department has approved 85 applications from agricultural producers of Bashkortostan for preferential short-term loans totaling 2 billion 400 million rubles.
According to Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, the basis of a successful sowing campaign is the technical equipment of the agricultural complex. Currently, farmers are completing the repair of equipment and are harvesting fuels and lubricants, seeds, plant protection products and fertilizers. There are farms in the republic where there is seed material for sale. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus will coordinate work in this direction. Under the department for such tasks, a headquarters for conducting spring field work has been created.
“The Ministry of Agriculture, municipal districts, agricultural enterprises and farmers are ready to carry out spring field work in 2022 at the optimal agrotechnical time,” the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus - Minister of Agriculture emphasized in conclusion.
