The Tekhnoveles peasant farm in the urban district of Lotoshino is developing a farm where they will produce honey and grow berries .
“Two plots with an area of ​​more than 30 hectares of land have been allocated for the peasant farm under the Moscow Region 10 hectares program. More than 20 bee colonies have already been placed on the territory of one of the sites, and they plan to increase their number by 9 times in the next three years. This year, the farm plans to get 120-140 kilograms of honey, with an increase in the number of bee colonies, the volumes will also grow,” said Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region Georgy Filimonov, who is in charge of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
Also purchased hives for frame and frameless keeping of bees.
In addition, berry mother liquors have been planted on an area of ​​one hectare. A thousand raspberry bushes, 600 currant bushes, 300 honeysuckle bushes, 50 blackberry bushes have been planted.
The first large harvest of berries is planned to be received next year. The harvest will be delivered to large retail chains, they are also negotiating with restaurants, since the berries are suitable for making desserts.
Agricultural machinery has already been purchased for cultivating the land, and refrigeration equipment for storing products.
