Chuvashia sent a large batch of white mustard for export

Thus, the company “Paksha”, which is translated into Russian as “Belka”, sent a large batch of white mustard abroad.
The idea to engage in agriculture in the Paksha company arose during the pandemic. The bet was placed on white mustard - an unpretentious plant that feels great in our latitudes. And as it turned out, it was not in vain - this product is in great demand in Europe, where various sauces are made from it.
“Such sauces are not popular here. And in RUSSIA we mainly use yellow mustard. And ours is whitemustard ​It is used for sauces,” said Ivan Vladimirov, General DIRECTOR of Paksha LLC.
44 tons - this is exactly how much white mustard is sent from Chuvashia abroad. The company notes that last year they harvested 320 hectares of this crop and are not going to stop there. This year they plan to break their own record.
“This is our first shipment of white mustard seeds. This supply will then be exported . We plan to continue working on this culture. And develop our relationships with foreign business partners,” noted Anastasia Nazarova, leading sales manager of Paksha LLC.
Manufacturers admit that it is difficult to achieve success without government support. And thanks to preferential loans, a leasing program and subsidies for the purchase of elite seeds, they manage to make a profit. The assistance provided to farmers by the republic will allow agricultural enterprises to purchase additional equipment and increase acreage.
“Chuvashia increased its exports of agricultural products by one and a half times at the end of 2023 - goods worth $40.7 million were sent abroad . While meeting the needs of the population, the republic is actively developing in the EXPORT direction, which allows us to say with confidence that Chuvash quality is valued all over the world,” notes the Deputy Prime Minister,Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov.
