The agreement on cooperation between the Republic of Buryatia and the Chelyabinsk region was signed for five years. Under this agreement, the parties will hold mutual consultations, joint working meetings, round tables and other events in order to develop proposals on issues of mutual interest, the agreement says. Permanent advisory and expert groups will be formed in the regions to solve joint problems, including the supply of agricultural products, pedigree livestock and products of the food and processing industry.

- This agreement is mutually beneficial, because cooperation will allow the exchange of new achievements and technologies in agriculture. The Chelyabinsk region is one of the developed regions in RUSSIA in the field of agriculture. In almost all sectors of agriculture, the Chelyabinsk region is in the top 10 Russian regions. And today, thanks to the signing of the agreement, new prospects for the development of agriculture will appear,” said Galsan Dareev.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Chelyabinsk Region Inna Podshivalova emphasizes the peculiarity of Buryatia's agricultural products as environmentally friendly and healthy:
- The Republic of Buryatia is an interesting region, there are many natural objects that are known not only in Russia, but all over the world. The products of the republican agro-industrial complex have established themselves as environmentally friendly. And this, probably, became one of the decisive factors in the conclusion of the agreement.

After signing the agreement, Inna Podshivalova invited Galsan Dareev and his colleagues to visit the Chelyabinsk region. The parties intend to clarify the details of this visit later.
