All the main areas of support for the livestock industry have been preserved.
An industry meeting was held in the Congress Hall under the leadership of the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region Valery Boyko.
Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk region, heads of districts, heads of agricultural departments, heads of livestock organizations, representatives of scientific organizations of the region, as well as federal structures took part in considering the development of the agricultural industry in the Omsk region.
120 agricultural organizations, more than 280 thousand personal subsidiary farms and 657 peasant (farm) farms are engaged in animal husbandry in the region.
At the end of 2022, the following were produced: 606.3 thousand tons of MILK (99.5% by 2021), 190.8 thousand tons of MEAT (100.6%), 869.2 million eggs (154.4%).
The highest milk yield per forage cow was obtained in the farm "Tritikum" of the Cherlak region - 10,150 kg, 9,215 kg were milked in LLC "Leader" of the Bolsherechensky district, 9,087 kg were milked in LLC "Solyanoye" of the Cherlak region, 8,383 kg were milked in JSC Agrofirma Ekaterinoslavskaya » of the Sherbakulsky district, 8,179 kg in the Razdolnoye JSC of the Russko-Polyansky district, 8,144 kg in the Bogodukhovskoye JSC of the Pavlogradsky district, 8,100 kg of the JSC im. Kirov" of the Krutinsky district and 8,032 kg of the SPK "Pushkinsky" of the Omsk district of the Omsk region.
“Achieving record milk yields is certainly impossible without continuous professional development. Training is always an important factor in the development of the industry. Technology does not stand still, and farm workers must understand all technological processes. We see a trend that in those farms where specialists are constantly trained, production indicators are improving every year,” said Nikolay Drofa, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk Region.
During the period from 2017 to 2022, major investment projects were implemented in the dairy cattle breeding sub-sector in such farms as KH "Tritikum", SEC "Ermak", SEC "Bolshevik", JSC "Tsvetnopolye", SEC "Pushkinsky". The following projects are at the implementation stage: OJSC Omsky Stud Farm - construction of a livestock breeding complex for 1800 cows; KFH Konev A.M. - construction of a livestock complex for 1,200 cows, with the installation of a milking parlor; SPK "Lesnoy" - construction of a livestock complex for 800 heads, etc.
Over the past five years of competitions for grant support within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises" 219 winners have been identified. The total amount of grants for the period 2018-2022 amounted to 1 billion 126 million rubles, including 106.1 million rubles from the regional budget.
In total, the grantees purchased 1508 units of agricultural machinery, 8.7 thousand heads of cattle , 2.4 thousand heads of sheep, 12.9 thousand heads of poultry, 1.7 thousand bee colonies. Acquired, repaired, reconstructed and built industrial premises in the amount of 110.9 million rubles.

The government of the Omsk region will additionally finance new areas of support for the industry: 100 million rubles will be allocated for the acquisition and increase in the breeding stock of cattle during measures to improve the herd from leukemia, 5 million for the purchase of young commercial cattle for rearing and fattening at specialized feedlots rubles.
The financing of the subsidy for the purchase of equipment for the production, storage (cooling) of milk, feeding (watering) of calves has been increased, support has been maintainedto compensate for the cost of purchasing feed for farm animals and poultry.
The priority tasks of the livestock industry for 2023 are attracting investments in the industry, technical and technological equipment of the industry, modernizing existing production, increasing the level and quality of fodder harvesting, selection and breeding work, providing the industry with highly qualified personnel, productive longevity of farm animals, ensuring epizootic well-being and competitiveness of the produced high quality livestock products.
