Agrarians of Transbaikalia will be compensated 30% of the cost of purchasing agricultural machinery

Agricultural producers of the Trans-Baikal Territory will be reimbursed 30% of the cost of purchasing machinery and equipment, said Denis Bochkarev, HEAD of the regional agrarian department.

“The Ministry of Agriculture of Transbaikalia in 2022 will continue to work to compensate farmers who bought new agricultural machinery and equipment in the amount of 30% of its cost. Last year, 135 farms in the region took advantage of subsidies, which purchased over 300 pieces of machinery and equipment for more than 600 million rubles. From the regional budget, they were compensated for expenses in the amount of more than 180 million rubles,” the minister explained.

According to forecasts, in 2022 agro-industrial organizations intend to upgrade the machine and tractor fleet by more than 340 units. it is known that the plans of agricultural enterprises include the purchase of 23 combines, 56 tractors of various brands and modifications, as well as other machinery and equipment in the amount of more than 1.1 billion rubles.

In addition, according to the agreements between the Ministry of Agriculture of the region with the Rostselmash combine plant and the Agroflagman Siberia company, Transbaikal farmers will be provided with a discount on equipment from manufacturers.
