Agrarians of Kuzbass replenish stocks of mineral fertilizers

The preparation of farmers for the sowing campaign is coming to an end - under favorable weather conditions, spring sowing in the region will begin before the end of April.
As of April 18, agricultural producers signed contracts for the EXPORT of 66.4 thousand tons of fertilizers, 57.6 thousand tons were accumulated for use during the spring field work in 2022, including fertilizers produced by KAO Azot, Governor Sergei Tsivilev has been running a special installment program for regional producers for several years now.
“The pace of fertilizer purchases is significantly ahead of last year. The largest volume to date was formed by the agrarians of the Promyshlennovsky, Guryevsky, Krapivinsky, Leninsk-Kuznetsky municipal districts. First of all, winter crops are subject to top dressing, since their development takes place in conditions of cool weather and short daylight hours, they will be able to gain the necessary amount of useful substances only if they are provided with nitrogen, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus from the outside,” said the Minister of Agriculture and processing industry of Kuzbass Andrey Aritkulov.
In total, this year it is planned to purchase 121.8 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers, which is twice as much as a year earlier.
In addition, 117.7 thousand tons of organic fertilizers have already been taken to the fields.
