Agrarians of the Krasnoyarsk Territory threshed 2.9 million tons of grain

During the Presidium of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Governor Alexander Uss heard a report on the preliminary results of the 2021 harvesting campaign.

As noted by the Deputy Chairman of the Krai Government - Minister of Agriculture and Trade of the Krai Leonid Shorokhov, the region's farmers harvested 2.9 million tons of grain in bunker weight from 924.5 thousand hectares. The yield of cereals and legumes amounted to 31.5 centners per hectare and became the maximum in the Siberian Federal District.

Leonid Shorokhov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government - Minister of Agriculture and Trade: “The results of the agricultural year are the second result in the history of agriculture in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. 2020 was a record year for us in terms of weather conditions. Then, in the initially credited weight, we received almost 2.9 million tons of grain with an average yield of 31.7 centners per hectare.”

The HEAD of the region thanked the agricultural workers and stressed that the region manages to achieve the annual high results of the agricultural sector thanks to the professionalism and selfless work of the villagers.

The leaders in the yield of cereals and legumes are traditionally Nazarovsky (48.1 c/ha), Uzhursky (48 c/ha), Sharypovsky (42.1 c/ha), Emelyanovsky (33.5 c/ha), Novoselovsky (31. 7 c/ha) areas. In the largest agricultural enterprises of the region, this figure is more than 60 centners per hectare, in peasant (farm) enterprises - 62.7 centners per hectare.

About 444 thousand tons of new crop wheat were examined for compliance with state quality standards. 64.5% of them meet the requirements of GOST for food grains. Including wheat of the third class - almost 47%, or 207.4 thousand tons.

Rapeseed harvested from 177.5 thousand hectares. Nearly 364,000 tons of oilseeds have been threshed, with a yield of 20.5 centners per hectare. For the third year in a row, the region takes first place in RUSSIA in terms of rapeseed seed yield. The share in the all-Russian production is more than 12%.

The areas leading in terms of spring rapeseed yields are Novoselovsky (30.5 c/ha), Uzhursky (27.7 c/ha), Nizhneingashsky (25.4 c/ha), Minusinsky (24.8 c/ha) and Berezovsky (24.7 q/ha). 106.2 thousand tons of potatoes and 23.5 thousand tons of vegetables were harvested with a yield of 194 centners per hectare and 211.6 centners per hectare, respectively.

The plan for the preparation of fodder has been overfulfilled. 244 thousand tons of hay, 924 thousand tons of haylage, 396 thousand tons of silage have been stored. Taking into account the carry-over residues of the last year, the supply of feed is almost 37 centners of feed units per conditional head (128% of the plan).

Agrarians of the region are preparing for the new agricultural year. 22.5 thousand hectares of winter crops have been sown for the future harvest. More than 222 thousand tons of grain and leguminous seeds were filled up (98.5% of the plan). 440.5 thousand hectares of fallows were plowed, stubble fields were prepared for 745 thousand hectares (96.5% of the plan).
