34 students and young scientists of USAU are semi-finalists of the competition of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation

All of them became the winners of the first stage of the competition for the best scientific work among students, graduate students and young scientists of universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA.
Scientific and practical conferences "Youth and Science-2022" (stage I of the competition of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation) from March 9 to 24 were held at all faculties of the Ural State Agrarian University.
Students, graduate students and teachers discussed modern technologies for growing and producing crops, innovative methods of protecting plants from diseases and pests, agroecological monitoring of soil conditions in the Middle Urals, modern methods of environmental management and landscape design, the latest inventions for tillage and growing plants, obtaining fuel from waste animal husbandry, advanced methods of feeding and breeding animals and poultry, new methods for diagnosing, treating and preventing animal diseases, the impact of technogenic factors on the HEALTH of animals, improving the efficiency of agricultural production and much more.
In total, the young scientists of USAU prepared more than 300 reports in 14 nominations: agronomy; agrochemistry and agrosoil science; environmental management and water use; gardening; land management and cadastres; veterinary medicine; veterinary and sanitary examination; technology of processing agricultural products; zootechnics; food production; agricultural engineering; machines and equipment for the agro-industrial complex; operation of transport and technological machines and complexes; electrotechnologies, electrical equipment and power supply in the agro-industrial complex.
Of all the submitted scientific reports, expert commissions at the faculties chose the best ones. it is they who will represent the university at the II district stage of the competition in April. And the winners of the second stage will take part in the final among all agricultural universities in the country in May this year.
“Within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology and the Year of the Teacher and Mentor, we held a large international scientific forum, an all-Russian conference on technosphere safety, round tables, a scientific and practical conference for schoolchildren “On the way to knowledge” and, of course, annual student scientific conferences at faculties. Today, the agro-industrial industry is breaking records in terms of production and exports, so new research and developments that will help ensure the independence of our country are becoming increasingly valuable,” said Mikhail Yuryevich Karpukhin, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, USAU, Ph.D. n., associate professor.
It is worth noting that on April 18, the Ural State Agrarian University will host the second stage of the competition for the best scientific work among students, graduate students and young scientists of universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia in the nominations: “Operation of transport and technological machines and complexes”. And in May, USAU will traditionally hold the final of the industry competition in the nomination "Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise".
Recall that the All-Russian competition for the best scientific work among students and young scientists of universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation is the annual and most prestigious event for young researchers - farmers. The main criteria for evaluating works are: relevance, novelty of research, practical significance, the ability of the author to present his project.
