2021 was successful for the farmers of Chuvashia in terms of developing foreign markets

The results of the last year were successful for the agro-industrial complex of Chuvashia in terms of mastering foreign markets. In total, local exporters - agricultural producers and processing enterprises traded their products for 43.6 million US dollars , 6.6 million US dollars more than last year.

“Our republic is an active participant in the national project “International Cooperation and Export”. The overall performance of the indicators of the regional project "Export of agricultural products" in comparable prices exceeded the planned obligations by 40.2%, reaching a volume of 43.6 million US dollars against a plan of 31.1 million US dollars," said Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Chuvash Republic - Minister of Agriculture Sergei Artamonov.

In the structure of exports, according to the Minister of Agriculture, grain products amounted to $0.3 million, MEAT and dairy products - $2.7 million, food and processing industry products - $35.7 million.

32 organizations are recognized as regional exporters, in 2018 there were 15 organizations, including today 5 processing enterprises of the agro-industrial complex: Akkond JSC, Vavilon ChMKF LLC, Mega YURMA LLC, Chuvashkhmelprom OJSC, Agrokhmel LLC »; 2 water producers (JSC Buket Chuvashii and LLC ChLVZ), 9 agricultural organizations (LLC Agrofirma Glory to Potato, LLC Agrofirma Tayabinka, LLC KFH SAMAT, LLC Agrofirma Glory to Potato - Yalchiki), 7 traders (KMK LLC, KMK Group of Companies LLC, AVAN LLC, VNESHTORG LLC, TD Agrohiminzhenering LLC, etc.), as well as peasant farms and individual entrepreneurs.

Sergey Gennadievich also noted that in the past the range of exported products has expanded, for the first time the supply of cattle meat, goose eggs for incubation, black tea (fermented), cumin or fennel seeds, seed spelt, clover seeds for sowing and other products.

Directions for the sale of products of Chuvash farmers have also expanded. Shipments to Iraq, Kuwait and Lithuania of confectionery products from SUGAR, chocolate, bread and FLOUR confectionery have begun.
The list of main importing countries includes CHINA , Belarus, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
