The Ministry of Agriculture has summed up the results of the competitive selection of farmers and individual entrepreneurs for Agrostartup grants. In total, 50 million rubles are allocated for Agrostartup grants this year.
48 million rubles from the federal budget and 2 million rubles from the regional budget are allocated to finance Agrostartup grants in 2022 in the Chelyabinsk region. In total, 30 participants were admitted to the selection. For the first time, potato and vegetable growing, cattle and small cattle breeding and MILK production were identified as priority areas for obtaining grants.

For a large family of Elvira and Ruslan Nafikov from the village of Tuguzbaev, Argayash district, the grant promises to be a real start for rural business. Literally two years ago, the couple began to develop their farm, brought sheep. Ruslan Nafikov says that he feels a strong connection with the Bashkir roots, so they decided not only to raise livestock, but also made a small ethnic complex, put up a yurt. Ruslan himself is a master of all trades: his "kalym" is welding, barbecues, gates. Today, there are six horses of the Bashkir breed in the Nafikov farm, the spouses plan to purchase 15 more with the grant. They are negotiating with a stud farm in Bashkiria. In a year, the farm will be able to taste koumiss and shoot archery - real Bashkir-style agritourism!
Another result, which provides state support in the form of grants, is an increase in the employment of the rural population. This year, Agrostartup grantees will open 33 new jobs.
