The positive dynamics of the production of MILK and dairy products, which has been preserved in our country in recent years, is primarily due to the active development of investment projects. To date, 165 new livestock projects are being implemented in RUSSIA for 195 thousand livestock places. Their launch at full capacity will allow additional production of 1.6 million tons of milk.
In general, more than 19 thousand organizations in this area operate throughout the country. Currently, enterprises are fully provided with breeding products - this issue is under special control of the Ministry of Agriculture. The indicators for the first quarter confirm the positive trend laid down in the plans of livestock breeders for this year. Thus, in January-March, the volume of milk production in all categories of farms increased by 1.5% to 7 million tons. Including in large, medium and small agricultural organizations, this figure amounted to 4.59 million tons, which is 3.4% more than last year. Productivity is also increasing - for the specified period, milk yield per 1 cow exceeded 1.8 thousand kg (+6.1%).
To stimulate the production of milk and its processing, the Ministry of Agriculture provides for a set of state support measures. Among them are concessional lending, as well as compensation for part of the costs of construction and modernization of livestock facilities. At the same time, the issue of indexing the marginal cost of a cattle place during the implementation of such projects is currently being worked out. Also, in order to reduce the costs of milk producers this year, the issue of allocating at least 10 billion rubles for the purchase of feed is being worked out. In addition, a number of customs and tariff regulation measures have been taken in relation to the EXPORT of crop products - this allows us to ensure a stable situation in the market of feed components.
