Zelensky imposed sanctions against companies associated with Prigozhin

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has imposed sanctions against companies associated with Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin. The corresponding decree was published on the website of the office of the HEAD of state.

In particular, the companies Concord Management and Consulting, Ritm, Aurum, Concord M, Power Plant, the Federal News Agency (FAN), PMC Wagner Center were included in the sanctions list. Prigogine in them is the general DIRECTOR or founder.

Prigozhin himself has been under sanctions from the United States (since 2016), CANADA (since February 2022) and the European Union (since April 2022). PMC Wagner, founded by Prigozhin, has been under US sanctions since 2017. Last December, Washington tightened EXPORT controls on PMCs to limit the group's access to equipment made with American equipment.
