Japan from April 5 will introduce a ban on the export of luxury goods to Russia. This was announced by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Koichi Hagiuda, reports REUTERS.

The ban applies to gems, jewelry and premium cars.

On March 11, the United States announced a ban on the export of luxury goods to Russia and Belarus. The Ministry of Commerce of the country clarified that restrictions are imposed on the export, resale and transfer of such products. The list includes jewelry, some cars, clothing, ALCOHOL and tobacco products, antiques.
