The French authorities have detained two yachts on the Cote d'Azur, which are allegedly related to Russian businessman Alexei Kuzmichev. This is reported by sources from Liberation, AFP and Le Figaro.

We are talking about the yacht La Petite Ourse with a length of 17 m and another vessel La Grande Ourse with a length of 26 m. According to Liberation, their cost is estimated at €20 million and €50 million, respectively. Both yachts are registered with Orangerie marine limited in Malta.

On March 15, Kuzmichev was included in the EU sanctions list, which implies the freezing of assets in the jurisdiction of European countries and a ban on economic relations with European companies.
