The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine has refused to investigate the sale of the Papik series to the Russian TV channel STS by the Kvartal 95 studio. This follows from the department's response to the request of the publication "Ukrainian News".

The National Security and Defense Council clarified that they are not engaged in monitoring the implementation of sanctions. “The implementation of personal, special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) and monitoring of their effectiveness is provided by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and the NATIONAL BANK of Ukraine in accordance with their competence,” the response says.

YouTube channels of sanctioned media blocked in Ukraine Technology and media

In April, the STS channel began showing the second season of the series from Kvartal 95, co-founded by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

After the release of the second season of the series, the Office of the President of Ukraine assured that Zelensky "does not receive royalties from sales," Strana UA wrote.
