The Luxembourg investment fund Altair Holding SA was also subject to restrictions. The company invests in innovative companies in structurally developing markets, RBC Petersburg reported.

Russian authorities consider the measures illegal and demand their repeal. The Kremlin noted that the country, against the backdrop of Western restrictions, has already "acquired a certain immunity" and "adapted to life under sanctions."
