Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions against a number of Russian citizens. The document was posted on the Ukrainian president's website.

In particular, the list included Ukrainian music producer, founder of the groups Quest Pistols and Griby, Yuriy Bardash, who received a Russian passport at the beginning of last year.

Sanctions are also being introduced against Russian war correspondents Alexander Sladkov, Stanislav Smagin, and Andrei Rudenko.

In addition, the list included TV presenter Arina Sharapova, Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest (the Russian Ministry of Justice added him to the register of foreign agents), and political scientists Andrei Mishin and Vadim Karasev.

All those included in the list will be stripped of their awards in Ukraine , they will be prohibited from operating in the country and from entering it. Their assets in Ukraine will also be blocked.

In addition, the News Media holding (Life publications, Mash and Shot TELEGRAM channels), EADaily / Eurasia Daily, NewsFront, Readovka publications, the Belarusian Slavic Committee (BSC) public association, and others fell under Kyiv’s sanctions.

The measures against them are similar to those introduced for individuals: blocking of assets, a ban on conducting business on the territory of Ukraine, etc.
