There's a deadline for imposing sanctions against RUSSIA and Ukraine, US President Donald Trump said. He said the deadline is "in his head." He made this statement during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the White House.
"When I see the point where this can't be stopped, […] it's going to be very, very, very tough. And, to be honest, it could affect both sides," he said.
Trump believes there are opportunities for an economic partnership with Russia, he wrote earlierREUTERS, citing sources, said White House sources noted that this is precisely why Washington is currently refusing to impose sanctions on Moscow.
Russia has repeatedly stated that it considers the sanctions illegal and called for their lifting.
