The presidential commissioner for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs in RUSSIA, Boris Titov, commented to RBC on the UK sanctions imposed against him and his son Pavel. The Ombudsman expressed his readiness, despite the sanctions, to protect British businesses if their rights are violated.

“If they got to the ombudsmen-defenders, it means that not everything is fine in the British Kingdom,” Titov said.

He stated that the restrictions would not affect his work in any way. “As before, I will protect business from officials, by the way, including English, if its rights are violated,” Titov said.

The business ombudsman also answered a question about the fate of the Arbau-Dyurso sparkling wine factory, of which he was the main shareholder before joining the civil service. He recalled that in 2021 the company received "the highest award among growing wineries" in London. “So we make good wine.
