The US allowed transactions with Russia on fertilizers, food and medicines

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Treasury has allowed transactions with RUSSIA related to the supply of food, fertilizer, medicines and medical equipment, follows from the general license of the department.
The United States excluded some goods from the list of anti-Russian sanctions, including fertilizers, medical equipment and medicines, on February 24. They no longer apply to inorganic fertilizers, seeds and reproductive materials, foodstuffs, vitamins and minerals, food additives and vitamins, bottled water, live animals and feed for them.
The Ministry of Finance also lifted sanctions on medicines, medical equipment and components, and software for it. The US has allowed the EXPORT, import and re-export of goods from these categories.

However, a month later, the agency updated the general license and clarified the rules for importing a number of Russian goods into the United States, as well as the conditions for exporting American goods to Russia. In particular, it stated that transactions with goods from the list would be prohibited if the Russian Central Bank, the National Welfare Fund (NWF), the Russian Ministry of Finance, or any of the banks included in the sanctions lists are somehow involved in the processing of transactions.
In addition, exceptions for food products from the sanctions lists did not apply to Russian ALCOHOL, seafood and fish and products prepared from them, the department specified.
Also, operations for the trade in seed materials were brought out from under the restrictions. The sanctions were lifted from the former subsidiary of Gazprom, Gazprom Germania GMBH, and the subsidiary of the sanctioned Alfa-Bank Alfa-Bank Kazakhstan.

After sanctions were imposed on their parent companies, the companies were unable to conduct some operations. Thus, Alfa-Bank Kazakhstan lost the opportunity to conduct transactions in US and European currencies, the use of Alfa-Bank Kazakhstan cards in terminals and ATMs of other credit organizations became unavailable. As a result, the company began to explore the possibility of changing ownership.
Gazprom Germania was a subsidiary of the Russian Gazprom, however, in early April, the corporation withdrew its representatives from the management bodies and ceased participation in it. The company demanded that the former "daughter" abandon the trademarks of "Gazprom", including in the names and symbols, "to avoid further identification of their activities with the Russian company. After that, German Economy Minister Robert Habeck announced that Gazprom Germania would come under the control of the Federal Grid Agency (the German energy regulator) by September 30th.
