ROSSELKHOZNADZOR has limited the supply of MEAT and fish from a number of enterprises in Chile, Greenland and Argentina. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the press service of the department.

The ban has been in effect since July 14.

According to the Rosselkhoznadzor , the products of 16 Chilean enterprises fell under the ban: three for the slaughter and cutting of cattle, three for the production of finished meat products, and another ten fish.

In addition, the agency has deprived the right to supply products to four Greenland enterprises that imported fish and seafood to RUSSIA, as well as four Argentine enterprises that produce intestinal raw materials and cut and store pork and beef. According to the Rosselkhoznadzor, these measures were taken after the department received notifications from foreign companies about the violation of veterinary and sanitary standards by these enterprises.

Earlier, on July 14, Rosselkhoznadzor restricted the import of fruits and vegetables from Madagascar. As the press service of the department reported, now vegetables and fruits from this country can only be imported into Russia directly. Previously, these products were shipped to Russia through "difficult logistical routes through the countries of the European Union."
