London, in order to achieve imaginary political goals, may launch a “campaign against the Russians”, including confiscate their property, Russian Ambassador to the UK Andrey Kelin said on the air of the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

Kelin noted that the problem of money laundering in the UK exists, but there are only 4% of Russian funds, he said. He said that over the past two years there has been an attempt to confiscate property, which ended in failure.

“This is such a fight against windmills ... I do not exclude that London, in order to achieve some imaginary political goals, may unleash a campaign against Russian citizens, especially against those companies and heads of companies that are located in RUSSIA,” Kelin said.

He stressed that British companies also have business in Russia, so that UK actions could be followed by countermeasures.
