Additional gas supplies from RUSSIA will fill the deficit in Europe and can balance supply and demand, Przemysław Vatslavsky, deputy HEAD of the Polish energy operator PGNiG, told TASS.
He noted that now in Europe due to high gas prices there is a difficult situation. “At the same time, the question is what do you mean by the gas crisis. This is caused by high gas prices or a shortage of supplies,” Vatslavsky said.
According to him, there are still opportunities to pump gas from Russia. “The existing opportunities that are being used now and additional gas from Russia will fill the gap and also be able to balance supply and demand,” he added.

Earlier, Gazprom reported that in January-November 2021, it increased gas exports to non-CIS countries by 6.6% compared to the same period last year, to 171.5 billion cubic meters. m.
