The new package of EU sanctions, introduced on the anniversary of the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, plans to include four Russian banks, including Alfa-Bank, writes Politico, citing sources among EU officials and diplomats. In addition to him, about 130 individuals and organizations can be added to the sanctions list.
The sanctions list should include Russian military commanders, journalists “working for Russian state media and propaganda”, as well as companies and individuals in other countries who are associated with the military conflict in Ukraine or with Wagner PMC. According to Politico, these are individuals and organizations from Iran and Mali.
In addition, Brussels intends to ban the EXPORT of trucks and construction equipment from the EU to Russia, and in the opposite direction - to ban the import of rubber and bitumen from Russia to European countries. it is not yet known whether Russian diamond exports will be banned.

The EU adopted the last package of anti-Russian sanctions in December 2022. It included restrictions against 200 individuals and legal entities, banks - MKB and the Far East, a ban on investments in the Russian mining industry, and so on.
