Any sanctions are responded to in a mirror or asymmetrical manner in order to protect their own interests, said the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, Interfax reports.

At the same time, the Kremlin spokesman left unanswered the question of whether Moscow is preparing a draft of counter sanctions in case they are introduced by the West, calling it incorrect.

“Any sanctions - they are answered either in a mirror way or asymmetrically. But in such a way as to protect their own interests," Peskov said.
