Threats of sanctions against Russian businesses in the UK, including allegations of possible confiscation of the property of Russian entrepreneurs, are alarming, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, TASS reports.
“This is a very disturbing statement from London, which I think is disturbing not only for us, for our companies. This demonstrates the fair unpredictability of London, and, probably, this is a cause for serious concern in general for international financial structures and business structures,” Peskov said.

He noted that these statements "undermine the investment attractiveness and, in general, the attractiveness of the UK as such" against the background of the alarming situation in relations between Moscow and London.
"It's not often you see or hear such direct threats to attack a business," a spokesman said.
