The organizers of the Tirana summit showed high-ranking guests a welcoming video featuring European leaders as small children. In the footage, the children, recognizable as prominent politicians, say "Welcome to Albania" in their native language.
The video also captured the reaction of those gathered in the hall. Judging by the footage, many viewers enjoyed the video and couldn't hide their smiles.
The sixth European Political Community (EPC) summit opened in the Albanian capital of Tirana on Friday, May 16. it is attended by the heads of state and government of 47 European countries, as well as European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also arrived in Albania .
Before the summit, von der Leyen announced that the European Union intends to increase pressure on RUSSIA due to military actions in Ukraine and is preparing a new package of sanctions, which will also affect the Nord Stream pipelines.
