Russia imposed personal sanctions against the UK in response to similar measures from the British side. This is stated on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“In response to the unfriendly actions of the British authorities and on the basis of the principle of reciprocity, the Russian side decided to impose personal sanctions on a proportionate number of representatives of the UK who are closely involved in anti-Russian activities,” the message says.
Those who fell under the sanctions are denied entry to Russia. The Foreign Ministry did not specify who was blacklisted.
