RUSSIA has every opportunity for its own development, there will be no collapse in the economy due to sanctions imposed by the West. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
“The government has already made operational decisions to support our people and the economy: social payments, additional financing of high-tech industries, agriculture, the banking sector - in general, there will be no collapse in the economy,” he wrote on TELEGRAM.
According to Medvedev, the sanctions previously imposed against Russia benefited the country, as import substitution in all sectors began to develop more actively, the country began to develop new technologies and medicines. Now Russia must develop its production where it has not yet done so. Medvedev called this task difficult, but doable.
The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council stressed that Western companies do not want to lose the Russian market, but are “afraid”. Medvedev called monstrous pressure from Western governments on their own business. “It feels like this is happening not in a capitalist economy, but in a period of dictatorship,” he said.
