Israel has officially designated the Central Bank of Iran as a terrorist organization, Israel Katz, the Israeli Defense Minister, announced on his social media page.

According to him, the corresponding order was signed at the request of the Mossad and the National Headquarters for Combating Economic Terrorism.

"The Central Bank of Iran is a conduit through which billions are channeled to support murderous terrorism," the minister said in a statement.

Katz stated that the Central Bank of Iran is involved in financing the Houthis, Shiite militias in Iraq, and the Hamas movement.

"No element of the regime involved in terrorism is immune. We will strike at the Iranian axis of evil wherever it operates," Katz declared.

Earlier, on June 24, US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Iran and Israel. He noted that both sides had agreed to the ceasefire.

On the same day, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir stated that the military campaign against Iran continues and is entering a new phase.

Israel began strikes on Iranian territory on the night of June 13. According to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the primary targets were nuclear facilities, ballistic missile factories, and other Iranian military infrastructure. In response, Tehran launched a military operation against Israel, including the use of ballistic and hypersonic missiles.

On the night of June 22, the United States entered the conflict by striking three Iranian nuclear facilities: Isfahan, Fordow, and Natanz.
