British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has urged other leaders to join his six-point plan to respond to Russia's "invasion" of Ukraine, ranging from humanitarian support for Ukraine to causing maximum economic damage to Russia, REUTERS reported.

“It is not enough to express our support for the rules-based international order - we must protect it from the ongoing attempts to rewrite the rules through military force,” the British prime minister said.

He also listed his six-point plan for responding to Russia's moves, including:

mobilization of an international humanitarian coalition for Ukraine; support for Ukraine in its efforts to ensure its own self-defense; increased economic pressure on the Russian authorities; preventing a "creeping normalization" of Russia's actions in Ukraine; using diplomatic avenues for de-escalation, but only with the participation of the legitimate government of Ukraine; the rapid launch of a campaign to build security and resilience throughout the Euro-Atlantic area.
