The European Union has reached the limit of its capabilities in the campaign of economic sanctions against Russia, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said on FranceInfo radio.
“With regard to financial sanctions, of course, you can always go further, but we have already reached the limits of what we can do. We did everything we could, ”said Borrell (quoted by TASS).
The head of European diplomacy explained that the sanctions already imposed by the European Union are quite serious and "will lay a heavy burden on the Russian economy." In his opinion, restrictions on the EXPORT of high technologies have become painful.
