Most Russian companies have already adapted to work under sanctions or hope to achieve such a result in the near future. The situation in business is assessed negatively by the majority of entrepreneurs: 67.1% of business indicators are falling, of which 12.8% admitted that they are already in a crisis, and 22.4% "balance around zero." Only 10.4% of the businessmen surveyed said that their business is stable and continues to grow. At the same time , 34.7% positively assessed the government's actions to support business as calm and effective, more than half - 56.4% - assess them as insufficient. The same number of businessmen - 56.4% - believe thatthe economic situation in the country is difficult and forces "to abandon cosmetic changes and radically change the rules of the game." RUSSIA needs a new economic model that will allow businesses to “operate comfortably, profitably and safely.” Less than 4% are extremely pessimistic and believe that "there are no prospects."

The monitoring was attended by managers and owners of 6003 companies from 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

After the start of a special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian economy came under unprecedented sanctions pressure, and now the EU is developing the sixth package of sanctions, which discusses the oil embargo.
