The ex-owner of Binbank pointed out the Central Bank to the "point of no return"
The defense of the former majority shareholder of Binbank, Mikail Shishkhanov, against whom the Central Bank filed several lawsuits, sent a position on one of them, for 71 billion rubles, to the Moscow Arbitration COURT, RBC learned. The defendants in the lawsuit are Shishkhanov himself and four other former top managers of the bank.
The position of the defense is based on the fact that the Central Bank filed a lawsuit under the norm, which came into force eight months after the reorganization of Binbank and is not retroactive, and the reorganization of the bank itself is explained by economic reasons, and not by the actions of its management. The letter also states that the sole controlling person of the bank has always been Shishkhanov himself, and not the other defendants.
