The Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug took third place in the ranking of the socio-economic situation of the country's regions in 2021. This was reported today in the press service of the government of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.

“According to the Civil Society Development Fund, the rating is integral and consists of two blocks that combine data on the economic and socio-economic situation of Russian regions. In total, the rating includes 9 indicators, among them: average wage, living wage, industrial production index, VAT dynamics, the ratio of the amount of the state debt of the subject to the amount of budget revenues and more,” the statement said.

The first line of the rating was occupied by the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and Moscow is in the second place. The rating was prepared by the Civil Society Development Foundation based on quarterly data from Rosstat, the Ministry of Finance, the Tax Service and the Federal Treasury.

Note that the Tyumen region took only 21st place.
