The authorities of the Leningrad Region intend to apply to the prosecutor's office with a request to respond "to the actions of the owner of the deliberate bankruptcy" of the Russko-Vysotskaya poultry farm. This was announced by the Governor of the region Alexander Drozdenko in his TELEGRAM channel.

“Despite the presence of an interested investor, the owners of the Russko-Vysotskaya poultry farm announced the closure of production and the release of personnel. They decided that they could use the land for other purposes. For example, housing construction. We got lost,” Drozdenko wrote. The governor noted that the enterprise belongs to the food security sector and is of great importance in the food market of both the region and St. Petersburg. The press service of the government of the Leningrad region told TASS that the poultry farm creates 400 jobs and is the city-forming enterprise of the village of Russko-Vysotskoye.

According to Alexander Drozdenko, the operational headquarters for the sustainable development of the economy of the Leningrad region will consider the possibility of transferring the assets of the poultry farm under the temporary management of a Russian company. RBC Petersburg sent a request to the Russko-Vysotskaya poultry farm with a request to comment on the situation.

The Russian-Vysotskaya poultry farm is located in the Lomonosovsky district of the Leningrad region. it produces MEAT from broiler chickens. As stated on the factory website, it was built in 1968. In 2015, the enterprise underwent modernization, after which the poultry farm began to produce 18 thousand tons of chicken meat per year.

According to the SPARK-Interfax information system, OOO PO Russian-Vysotskaya Poultry Farm belongs to Lyubov Belous (36% of the shares in the management company), Dmitry Kozharsky (36%) and Mikhail Osipov (28%). At the end of 2021, the company's profit amounted to 826 thousand rubles, revenue - 1.1 billion rubles.
