The Vietnamese airline Vietnam Airlines will suspend flights to Russia from March 25. This is reported by the publication VnExpress with reference to the statement of the air carrier.

The company explained that the suspension of flights is due to the fact that Vietnam Airlines needs to review and clarify the procedures, requirements and rules regarding vehicle insurance in connection with flights to Russia, in particular to Moscow.

Currently, Vietnam Airlines is the only airline in the country that operates flights to Russia, the newspaper notes.

Since January 27, Russia has resumed flights with Vietnam. it was about flights from Moscow to Hanoi. Then on March 16, the Vietnamese authorities returned visa-free entry to the country for Russian tourists. Under the updated rules, Russians will be able to stay in Vietnam without a visa for 15 days from the date of entry.
