Britain will give Ukraine £25 million and 6,000 missiles for military purposes, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in a statement published on the government website.
“The measures include 6,000 anti-tank and high-explosive missiles, as well as financial support for the Ukrainian army in the amount of £25 million,” the statement said.
Johnson plans to make a corresponding statement during the NATO summit in Brussels, which will be held on March 24. Also, the British prime minister will call on the allies to provide Ukraine with the means to defend itself.
In addition to the NATO summit, on the same day, Brussels will host the summit of the "big seven" (G7), which also includes the UK.
