The authorities have ordered residents of the Ulyanovsk region to wear masks in public transport, pharmacies and social service institutions due to the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor to combat CORONAVIRUS, the regional government said on its website.

“The draft decree [on the mandatory mask regime] has passed public discussion, discussion with the business community and agreed with the control and supervisory authorities,” the report said.

In crowded places, wearing masks is not yet mandatory, but desirable.
