In Tyumen, the HEAD of the recreation center, where two children died last summer, was detained.

Accidents occurred at the Lesnoy Pond, where minors drowned.

“The DIRECTOR of the recreation center OOO Delver, Mikhail Fateev, was detained. On May 12, the Central District COURT will choose a measure of restraint for him,” Maksim Yeremeev, a lawyer for the families of the victims, told 72.ru.

A 16-year-old boy drowned in mid-June, two weeks later a 17-year-old Tyumen woman died in the same place. Fateeva became a defendant in the case of the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements. According to the mother of the deceased, her daughter did not swim behind the buoys, but, most likely, stepped into the pit, where she could not stand upright and choked.

According to the lawyer, the management of the base did not even express condolences to the relatives of the teenagers, and no compensation was paid either.

According to the financial statements, the revenue of Delver, which owns Pond Lesnoy, at the end of 2021 amounted to 66.7 million rubles, profit - 15.4 million.
