Schools closed in three regions of China due to COVID-19 situation

School students in the Chinese provinces of Guangdong and Hebei, as well as in some areas of Beijing, have been transferred to remote work due to the situation with the CORONAVIRUS.

The Chinese authorities divide all cases of infection detected in the country into those in which the symptoms of the disease manifested clearly and asymptomatic. In both cases, the authorities take into account whether the infected person came from abroad or became infected within the country.

All cases referred to are in mainland CHINA. Statistics for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, which China considers its own territory, are kept separately.

This was done in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. On the eve of the authorities issued an order to suspend the work of primary and secondary schools, students were transferred to distance learning. The universities and colleges of the district have switched to closed management. When such a regime was introduced in Shenzhen, China, in March, organizations created temporary PCR testing points and introduced special passes for entering and leaving the territory in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus in factories. Employees of enterprises lived in industrial parks.

Kindergartens began to work in a remote format from November 21. Restrictions will be in effect until the end of the day on November 25. In five districts of the city during this period, citizens will be tested for coronavirus.

In Hebei, two patients with severe symptoms of the disease were found over the past day, and another 734 people are asymptomatic.

In China, over the past day, 27,095 new cases of coronavirus have been detected, including 2,365 confirmed and 24,730 asymptomatic. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic in mainland China, 288,562 confirmed cases have been identified, of which more than 262,000 have been cured, and 5,229 have died. On November 20 and 21, three coronavirus patients died in China for the first time since May.
